Whether you are new to yoga or want to just slowly dive deeper into your practice this class will allow you to open new avenues of your practice. We will cultivate a sacred space for you to dip into your breath, move into your body and explore.
Yoga Before Work
This class is a dynamic, soulful, devotional and rejuvenating physical yoga practice fusing the principles of hatha vinyasa yoga (the union of body, breath, and movement) and the qualities of bhakti yoga (gratitude, open-heartedness, humility, compassion, and devotion). Like the name suggests, be prepared to move, exploring deeply the hips, core and shoulders. We spend 40 + hours working, think of this as investing 1+ hour on your body, mind and soul. The intention is always to be where you are and do your best to honor yourself and grow in your dedication to practicing, whether that is your breathing, where your mind is at, or your physical poses…intention is key here as is coming to class with an open mind and open heart and ready to dive deep into your own bliss before work!
Energizing Soul Smiling Vinyasa
This class will be geared towards energizing, uplifting and positive space both in body, mind and heart. We will explore a wide range of yogic techniques including vinyasa asana sequences (flowing yoga poses with the breath), seated/grounding yoga poses, yogic breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation, kirtan (devotional chanting), massage, visualizations, affirmations and creative movement to enhance your transformative yoga experience. Come with an open mind and heart! This class is for absolutely everyone. It doesn’t matter your age, shape or flexibility. This class will open you up to all of the bliss and joy that yoga has to offer. It’s music; vibe and name will be sure to make your soul smile and feeling energized for the day!
Yoga for Peace
In this class, the intention is set for the group is Peace. Inhale Peace…Exhale Stress! We will begin classes with a short invocation, breathing for peace both in mind and body, move through a fun, fluid blend of standing and seated poses, deeply restorative pose at the end, and savasana-aaaawwww Final Relaxation with sweet essential oils and finish up with a chant 🙂 What could be better than Yoga for Peace, inside of each of us….let’s do it and spread it all around!
Candlelight Heart Openers
This is a class focusing on Heart Openers. Have you ever felt in life that you spend far too much time sitting, hunched over a desk, standing for long periods of time, or heavy lifting and feeling neck, shoulder and back pain? Then this class is for you! With much of our daily life focused on forward-flexion our bodies are hungry for some heart, shoulder and back opening poses. Hence this class was formed. Focusing on opening the heart, these poses will be the main focus along with some counter softening poses to make sure the practice is balanced. Very important to come prepared to open your heart and let go! An Awww sweet release is what the intention is in this practice.
Energizing flow that will build your strength, balance and concentration. Fun and empowering sequencing followed by a nice and mellow yin inspired postures.
Fluid movement combined with the breath in a series of sun salutations and asanas create this vigorous and strength building class. With an emphasis on body awareness and mindfulness, you will experience moving meditation to strengthen and/or soften (whichever you need most today) your body and your mind while connecting you with your internal rhythm.

Kirtan Vinyasa Flow/Sacred Sunday Kirtan Vinyasa
A unique creation by Govindas and Radha – the founders/directors of Bhakti Yoga Shala, where Ashley taught for the last 3+ years before opening up The Grateful Yogi in Las Vegas. This Kirtan Vinyasa Flow is a blissful mandala (blend) of kirtan, movement, asana (poses), devotion, bhakti-philosophy, and prayer. Like a moving meditation and devotional dance, Students will be guided through flowing vinyasa movements and kirtan (yogic chanting) at the SAME TIME! This ritual is designed to compassionately open our bodies; voices, minds and hearts, and help each of us cultivate our own unique and loving relationship with the divine.
In this yin style yoga class, a shanti-bhav or peaceful mood will support us in slow, passive holds (between 2 and 8 minutes) of simple yoga poses to deeply stretch the body and facilitate a true letting go into a profound state of grounding, relaxation, insight and stillness. Light supportive massage and support will be offered as well. This class is open to all and is a wonderful medicine to counter the anxiety that comes with the busy-ness of fast paced modern day life…Come chill out in this YIN-SLOW-DEEP stretch class. You will be hooked!
This style of yoga teaches the body to surrender. Allowing new depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, and an increased flow of energy. Yin Yoga is the yummiest of styles. It is the perfect compliment and balance to the other more active, powerful, yang practices. It is relaxing, safe, slow deep stretching using restorative poses to assist us in calming the mind, body and heart. Focusing on soft tissue injuries/tension or any blocked energy we will begin to heal those areas, feel our muscles release and our minds quiet. Collective energy and participation in a group supports us while we deepen physical openings in the body. Teach your body when to be active and when to simply relax and let go! By practicing yin we increase vitality, awareness, and overall wellbeing and reduce stress, I invite you to heal from the inside out and take part in the YUMMINESS of YIN YOGA!
